I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2004 from the University of Brighton and have since built a broad and compassionate practice across NHS, private, and charitable settings. My physiotherapy approach is holistic and client-centered, with a focus on maximising independence and enhancing daily function, so that you can continue to live life as fully as possible.
I am happy to work alongside NHS services where appropriate, tailoring treatment to suit your individual needs and circumstances.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). I also hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Massage.
Following an initial assessment, I will work with you to establish meaningful, realistic therapy goals and develop a personalised treatment plan to help you achieve them.
Your treatment plan will be specific to your individual needs and based on your therapy goals.
Treatment aims might typically include:
I provide specialist treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and progressive conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and motor neurone disease (MND). My approach is holistic and client-centred, focusing on improving mobility, function, and quality of life.
Therapy is tailored to each individual’s goals and presentation, and may include hands-on techniques, movement re-education, sensory integration, and strategies to manage fatigue, spasticity, and postural changes. I work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and meaningful progress.
I provide comprehensive assessment, tailored advice, and rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery, whether resulting from injury or a planned procedure such as joint replacement. My goal is to support recovery, restore mobility, and help you regain confidence in movement through evidence-based physiotherapy and personalised care.
Treatment plans are adapted to your individual goals and can be delivered alongside NHS services if appropriate, ensuring continuity and collaboration throughout your rehabilitation journey.
I provide massage therapy techniques that are specifically designed to lengthen muscle tissue, release adhesions, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. These methods can help reduce pain, enhance joint mobility, and optimise overall function, supporting your ability to move with greater ease and confidence.
By enhancing proprioception and encouraging relaxation, massage can also support motor relearning and optimise functional movement. These techniques are integrated thoughtfully within your broader rehabilitation plan.
